Reviews & Ratings gmasomar from Spain stayed here on 03rd September 2010 Nice staff! | Female 25-30 | sophiepayne1131 from England stayed here on 01st September 2010 dont be decieved by appearances, when you 1st see it,its a shock and will think the worst but the manager was lovely, extremeley helpful, and was always on hand 2 help us whether its train tickets, tours or security.even after your stay he will still help you.location is just off the main bazaar and where all the markets are but be careful where you walk as its a bit grotty.be aware travelling@nighttime on a rickshaw as some of them may rip you off,its about 50rupees to `posh area` and dont pay more | Female 25-30 | kelclonts7362 from USA stayed here on 28th August 2010 nice free breakfast and internet use | | weekendgetaway stayed here on 11th August 2010 There are no smiles at Smyle Inn. The reception at check-in was not welcoming. The floor of the room was wet when we came in, it did not look like they cleaned it. There was no common area to meet other travelers other than the roof top restaurant which only had a very sad view of pigeon poop. I would not recommend staying here. Read Owner Comments | | htolboom8378 stayed here on 07th August 2010 Smyle Inn had a good reputation in 2007 but lost it somewhere. The staff is trying to get the inn back in shape by rebuilding the 2nd floor (and later the 3rd floor?).
We originally booked for three days an AC room for three. The 2nd floor was very dusty and noisy and the A/C did not work (we were not charged for it).
When we arrived Delhi was a huge mess due to the Common Wealth Games, this included the Main Bazar Road to the Smyle Inn.This huge mess was made worse by two open toilets which you had to p | | dinostsanis5818 from Greece stayed here on 03rd August 2010 this place was probably better two years ago, but currently it is awful-my room was dirty, really noisy, and someone was knocking my door in the night. In addition, I had to register to the police, as my visa required, and the receptionist was really rude and unhelpful, and when i was in the Delhi airport i got refused to leave the country because of this receptionist, who didnt help me register.wouldnt recommend at all | Male 25-30 | laurahartley19837425 stayed here on 01st August 2010 We were greeted with the biggest smile from our driver to get to the smyle inn and knew we were in safe hands! The smiles also continued inside the hostel as well and we were pelased with the help that we got with booking our holiday! we did not have a clue before! a driover is the best way to see rajasthan! we are loving it! They were ever so helpful and even upgraded us to an ac room for booking such a long trip! Such kindness! Thank you, I would recommend the smyle inn and with all the renovations that a | | nicolas_violi6934 stayed here on 31st July 2010 Personnel tres peu sympathique et peu disponible. Lieu sordide, je ne recommande pas du tout cet hotel. | | JC from Canada stayed here on 15th July 2010 It is easy to see why this place won the Best Hostel in India award. Compared to other hotels in the area, and indeed, compared to some youth hostels in Europe, the Smyle Inn is a breath of fresh air. The airport pickup service is highly recommended and well worth the small extra charge. The breakfast cook is a bit dodgy, but on the whole the staff were very helpful and courteous. I recommend this place for budget travellers. Be sure to get advice at the nearby gov't travel office. | Couple 31-40 | | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | | | |
